Welcome Email Sequence

Three emails for a service business. Triggered when someone signs up. Goal: establish trust, set expectations, move them toward a first conversation. No hard sell in email one.

Sent immediately on signup
Goal: welcome, set the tone, deliver on the promise
Sent day 2
Goal: deliver value, build credibility, soft positioning
Sent day 4
Goal: trust established, move toward conversation
What went into it
Email 1: tone over tactics
Sets the relationship, not the offer. The P.S. does real work. It gives permission to leave, which makes the people who stay more committed.
Email 2: reframe, not advice
Doesn't tell people what to do. Reframes how they think about a problem they already have. That's more valuable and more memorable than a tip.
Email 3: soft CTA that earns it
The ask only appears after two emails of value. "No pitch. Just a useful conversation." That framing lowers the barrier without lying about what the call is.
Consistent voice throughout
Same sentence length, same register, same directness across all three. Someone who reads email 1 on a Tuesday knows what to expect on Thursday. Consistency builds trust faster than cleverness.
